Joy Bio Picture

Hi, I’m Joy Bergh

I work with people who are “functioning”—but not okay. The ones who appear calm on the outside while chaos brews underneath.

I especially support parents, professionals, and LGBTQIA+ adults who’ve been holding it all together for too long.
I’ve lived through trauma myself—and I know healing starts when we stop pretending and start telling the truth.

If you’re ready for care that gets to the root—and honors the full you—I’m here for that.

My Approach

You’re not a case.
You’re not a diagnosis.
You’re a human who’s held it together long enough—and you’re ready to feel better, for real.

That’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care.
I believe in slowing down. Listening deeply. And building a healing plan that honors you—your story, your rhythms, your values.

That might include meds. Or therapy. Or gut health. Or prayer. Or all of it.
But we’ll choose together. And we’ll move at your pace.

Because healing isn’t just symptom relief.
It’s remembering that you’re allowed to feel safe, steady, and whole again

Do you…

…find yourself going through the motions of life, but struggling to feel present or joyful—even when things are “going well”?
…feel weighed down by anxiety, sadness, or burnout, and wish you could finally feel calm and safe in your own body?
…worry that medications have dulled your emotions, or wonder if you’re on more than you really need?
…long to address the root of your mental health challenges instead of endlessly managing symptoms?
…want a provider who understands the complexity of trauma, the mind–body connection, and the role that spirituality, sexuality, and nervous system health play in your wellbeing?

You are not alone—and your story doesn’t end here.

I specialize in helping high-functioning adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and sexual wellbeing concerns using a mind–body–spirit approach

Together, we’ll create a plan that’s as unique as you are.

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.”

— Robert Louis Stevenson

How I Help

I don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions.
I believe in care that actually fits your life.

Together, we’ll choose the tools that feel right for you.

  • Thoughtful, collaborative medication support focused on helping you feel like yourself again—not numb or overmedicated. I use the lowest effective dose and integrate it into a broader, whole-person healing plan.

  • A grounded, nonjudgmental space to explore what’s beneath the surface. Together, we work through patterns, trauma, and stuck places—at your pace, with depth, honesty, and real support.

  • Nervous system support designed to help your body feel safe again. Using somatic tools and regulation techniques, we gently shift you out of survival mode and into a state of calm and stability.

  • Practical, sustainable changes that support your mental health in daily life. From sleep and nutrition to stress and routine, we address the root factors impacting how you feel—so you can regain clarity, energy, and balance.

Taking the first step can feel hard—but you don’t have to do it alone.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just curious about what support could look like, this is a safe place to start.
